I am so glad that he is contributing but also making his stocks higher than they actually are.

He's not back yet but he's converting on the easy looks he's getting now as opposed to last game and that is what's important! :D

Tomatoes, To-ma-toes. But it probably helped that Kaman made the game easier for him, too.

Looked so much better out there than the previous game. Kaman must've clearly helped. Picked it up on the glass especially too and shot a much better percentage.

Yeah him and Kaman really seem to play well off of each other and get each other easy shots galore. I think 4 of 5 of the shots Kaman made were dunks and Gasol was able to post up on mismatches cause the bigger guy was on Kaman.

I'll question Shaw's coaching a little because for some reason he thought it was a good idea to have Faried try to play the post game AGAINST Gasol..

didn't work.

But when it comes down to it McGee is gonna jump at everything, so Kaman and Gasol are a bane to the Nuggets starting 4-5 combination because we'll always have the mismatch advantage when we go into the post.

That and Shawne Williams AND Jordan Hill were able to hold Faried in check for the most part.  He was very frustrated cause of that front court.

We have a very deep and strong front court, and a very depthful backcourt, so Faried was frustrated on both fronts, in one avenue he has to fight Jordan Hill for rebounds and was outdone, in the other avenue he had to fight Shawne Williams on the defensive end and couldn't score on him.

So I like our interior defense in the half court set thus far, and the depth of our wing attack.   We have options everywhere pretty much and I like it a lot!

Gasol and Kaman's chemistry for early offense and easy shots which allow us to get back on defense and get set is very vital for us defensively.

Nice game from Pau, although I'd like to see more effort at times defensively still, but sadly, preseason or not, even come regular season, I don't see that aspect of his game changing too much at this point. What's always been most frustrating to me is when little guys get to the basket and how often he can't seem to block any of those shots. It's so obvious it's the lack of caring enough & effort on his part more than anything. It's just beyond maddening to see so often sometimes.

It is but he has looked better than as per usual and the fact he's been sitting out of 4th quarters and still doing what he's been doing is a very good sign.  It means that 17/9/4 isn't out of the question for him OR Kaman for that matter.

He is what he is on defense, but I'd like to see him and Chris fight for rebounds more when the season starts. I understand if they don't want to exert too much energy at the board during preseason, but it'd be hard to forgive them during real games if I'm seeing our team get killed on second chances consistently.

With that said though, Pau has been putting up great numbers while playing under 30 minutes.

Pau was awesome tonight. 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in only 24 minutes. Didn't like his shotchart though - too many jumpers.
