Yeah he's played 38 games and he's started in 31 he's averaging 12 ppg 8rpg 3apg and 1 block a game now you tell me who in the mother [expletive]ing laker bench averages better than him?

Who on the Laker's bench gets payed 20mil a year....... His stats compared to his pay is complete garbage.

Pau is supposed to be a starting caliber PF so making that bench argument is pathetic.

The amount of money he is making is to play at least like an all star more towards super star pf. Guy gets paid way to much for his play I dont think anyone should disagree with that.

Obviously he's getting paid too much but that contract was made in Pau's prime. But if we talk about stats and who would do best in our starting line up Pau is the obvious choice

Good game tonight. Not getting my hopes up though.

Said he was "sore and tired" after the game, so I'm expecting the 4 points 8 rebounds Pau to be in the Bucks game.

I hope not though as we desperately need that win.

12 and 9 playing 32 minutes with his usual matador defense.   Not great but nit horrible either I guess.

^ yeah. Its his defense and constantly getting beat on back doors and never rotating to help Dwight that worries me above all else.

I cant think of any player the Lakers have ever had thats needed to be traded more that Pau.

Yes we've wanted to trade players like Luke or Sasha but they had small trade value. Pau is still a great player in the right system.

Pau is still a great player in the right offense. Pau can help a team like the Hawks. Give them a veteran Center who can lead them. He has trade value and a expiring contract.

He does need to go.

Doing a better job of synergizing with Dwight, so credit to D'antoni there.. However...

It won't mean anything of them clicking on offense if Gasol still gets beat on every backdoor on defense.

We did good holding the Kings to 98 points after 7 straight home games they scored over 100.

But we need to do it more than once.

All too often it has seemed like it "could" work with Dwight and Pau..only for us to go on and lose 4 straight and it show why it doesn't.

I wish we could just use him on offense and take him out as soon as the opponent has the ball. Great night against solid bigs, he was the one to brought us into the game. But again seeing every player toy with us when he is in the paint is too much pain for me to take.

Pau is still a top 5 post player

He is a top 5 PF and a top 5 center

Pau is severely undervalued right now

He was re best player on the court at times in the USA vs Spain game 9 months ago

Yep but credit the coach for finding ways to make Pau and Dwight work.

But also credit to Pau for finally staying in the freaking post.
