I think his problem is getting a shot off, when he doesn't he simply finds Kobe and most of the time its at the end of the shot clock SMH. Its always been this way, he wont take too many "lower percentage" shots

I think he over thinks it some times, he just needs to be more agressive, he's got the skill , maybe its a confident issue, I just want him to play the way I know he could play haha

It's funny, his stats actually aren't bad. The drop in the amount of shots he's taking accounts for his drop in PPG. His FG% is higher than his career average and last season. He's rebounding about the same as well.

Maybe it is just a matter of aggression.

Stats never tell the entire story. Pau thinks he's Dirk Nowitzki out there. I can understand him taking the open jumper if it comes in the flow of the offense, but if he's the main option on the court alongside numerous bench players, it's up to him to operate down-low instead of floating around the perimeter. I'd like to see more aggressive play when going towards the basket. That cutesy lay-up crap is getting very annoying nowadays, especially since he isn't redeeming himself with any real work in the low-post.

His stats are extremely misleading.

I agree. Just pointing it out.

I'm hoping that it means that his struggles are more of a psychological thing.
