Lockdown defender, elite playmaker, and a knockdown shooter. He's the complete package.

Blake is becoming more useless every game and Brown playing him @ the 2 position isn't helping the cause. Agree with what JRG said ^.

he kicked some ass in the 4th quarter tonight. gotta give dude his props. his 8 pts in the 4th were big baskets. Atleast it tells other teams from here on out hes got the potential to light it up. Lets pray he stays hot.

He finally knocked down a few of those wide open looks, good to see.

He did it against OKC too just a alittle over a week ago.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

2 out of the 145 games he's played for us in the last two years. Awesome.

He has played well overall the last month and I can tell you probably haven't followed his career.

In April he averaged 6 points on 40% shooting and 3 assists a game. Fantastic.

And no, I generally don't pay close attention to the career paths of below average players in the NBA.

He is a backup guard who shoots less than probably any other player.

If you haven't followed steve blake then you can't really judge his career.

I'm not blind to his performance while he was playing on other teams, but he's really nothing impressive. He was average in Portland, average for the Clippers, and has been below average for us. I don't care about what he's done throughout his career, only what he does for us. So far, he hasn't done much in two years.

I don't need to watch 8 years worth of Steve Blake footage to realize that he's a below average point guard.
