He's not 100 percent and has barely hasd playing time with our unit but his natural playing style fits so much into what we're doing he's seamlessly fitting in so far. Setting up good looks and being aggressive when he sees an opening.
Having a low mistake passing PnR pg that can stretch the floor is a very good thing for our second unit.
Obviously his legs aren't back which is why he fades late in games and his cardio needs to get back up. But im not gonna complain about 11 points 4 assists off the bench.
Good to have you back Blake!!!
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Pretty much everything a backup PG should be doing for us.

Jamison has benefitted a lot from it too.

Blake's been consistantly good off the bench ever since he came back maybe not 13 7 and 6 consistantly but he's been good since he's been back.
Jamison has benefitted a lot from it too.
umm nope...did you check his game log?

You should check the game logs on how our efficiency level of our bench increased since Blake's return and also the dramatic turn in Jamison's numbers as well since that point.
Blake has played well for us since coming back and our bench has benefited from it. As has the starters while Nash gets rest.

He has a better ratio of alley-oop passes to Dwight than Nash i guess. That can not be a bad thing.

Yeah his passing ability is what really makes it flow sometimes. And his chemistry with finding Dwight is great!! For a guy that's barely had time to practice with the team this fits his playing style so extremely well that it's hard to tell.
blake sucks dude....there's plenty other backup pointguards that are better than blake

Regardless of what you think the bench offense runs smoothly through him and he's been contributing equally well with the bench and with the starters and finds good shots for other teammates.
You can sit there all day and say "Steve Blake sucks bla blah blah" and at the end of those days he'll still have contributed to a win no matter how much it eats you inside
Some fans just hate players when they are doing bad AND good. If you refuse to acknowledge how good Blake's been for us since coming back then you're just blind.
Yes there's better point guards in the NBA than Blake, that doesn't mean that he hasn't been playing fantastic for us. Get over it.

LAL are 14-6 since Blake returned. He's stabilized the bench, is shooting 41.5% from 3 w/4 asts. in 19 min.

Lead us in assists today.
8 off the bench.
still needs to go. like i said, there are other pointguards who can put more production than blake. you can praise blake all you want, but that's all he can produce.

Steve Blake with 18 Pts, 7 Assists, 6 Rebounds, 4 Steals, 2 Blocks and 1 TO on 35 minutes? Probably one of his best games as a Laker.
