I'm happy that Ron can admit that opposing players have been blowing past him on occasions. He says it has to do with his ankle, but I think it has more to do with the fact that he just doesn't have great foot speed anymore. But in ISO situations, I still feel pretty confident in him defending other players, unless they are quick. Artest still has the strongest and quickest hands in the league. I do not feel comfortable when he has to fight over screens though.

Need to take advantage of these games by MWP. He's cutting to the basket, finishing at the rim and making three pointers. Happy with his game so far. When Kobe comes back (hopefully for SA) MWP can give us a lift offensively, and he shows up for big games.

The Last four games Ron is averaging 19 ppg on 64% fg, 53% 3pt fg, and 82% from the ft line. He has never previously averaged more than 11 ppg or 41% shooting as a Laker.

I thought he actually missed at the rim a lot. Hopefully he gets better at that. At least he is making attempts at the rim though.

Didn't shoot that well from the field tonight, but I like that that didn't discourage as he remained aggressive and got mostly good looks in my opinion that he's been knocking down lately, particularly some of those 3s, got tapped on some & of course, his defense, great as almost always. That should hardly ever be an issue with him.

It's clear that Ron is injury free, has lost weight and is in incredible shape now. When you see Ron dunking in multiple games, you know that he is feeling good. The guy looks spry on the court and it's no surprise that his production has increased. Even before Kobe got hurt, Artest was starting to play well. He has consistently played well these past 2 weeks. I really expect him to continue to be aggressive on both ends of the floor when the playoffs come.

The 7 game stretch of Kobe being gone, Artest has shot 38% from the 3.

He has shot 29.8% from the 3 for the year.

Amazing turn around. If he plays like this during the playoffs, we're going to look pretty scary to every single team we face, even if we're not favored.

He's looking good out there! He even looks in better shape, than before his suspension. And his defense on Gallo is awesome (Galo is 1-9 from the field with 4 TOs).
