15 points, 8 in the fourth quarter and hit three free throws at the end of the game. His stroke finally seems to be coming around and isn't flat. I knew when I saw him finally start arcing his shot that he was coming around. I think playing him over 30 minutes is good for him, helps him stay in the flow of the game better along with getting him in better shape. Which is vital in the playoffs. When it comes to Artest I don't worry about him getting tired in the playoffs. If he keeps playing with confidence and his shots don't look flat anymore I think he'll finish out the season strong, and I don't think the Lakers should amnesty him at all, he has shown on more than one occasion that if he plays well consistently offensively and defensively the Lakers are near impossible to beat. It's the bench keeping the momentum that I worry about sometimes more than Metta honestly.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Like I said in the main thread, if he keeps up this play, then we are good at the SF spot......Al indications are that he should be getting more consistent.....He has been getting back into shape, improving his shooting stroke, and is focusing more and more on basketball......I guess the divorce, as well as some nagging injuries have been distracting him a little bit...but from the tweets he sent out, it appears those issues are being resolved.....Welcome back Ron Artest, or World Peace, or whatever he wants to be called....If he keeps this up we will call him a solid starting small forward, and no longer trade bait, or an Amnesty guy......

I liked how when he stole the ball from LeBron and he knew he was following him on the fast break for his usual block from behind Ron just threw it down.
The fact he turned on the jets and ran that fast is a great sign.

It's like that's the only time he plays nice. When it's a big game.
If its just a regular game hes just there not really doing nothing for the most part. I wish he could play at least half of like he does during big games more

Since Sessions has joined the Lakers, MWP has averaged nearly 8 points a game on 37% shooting. (35.4% from the 3)
These still aren't great numbers obviously, but this is compared to the season average of 6 ppg on 35.8% shooting (28.1% from the 3).
Hopefully he can step up his shooting percentage even more as we go down the final stretch.
(Was bored and wanted to see what these numbers looked like, so decided to just share them.)
Edit: Should be noted he's averaging 30.5 minutes per game now as opposed to an average of 25 minutes per game for the season. So he's getting a lot more time, but at least his efficiency is going up.

I'm laughing because those aren't good numbers at all but with Ron I'll take anything better than the garbage I saw earlier in the season, offensively.

Yes if he can gives us 5 ppg day in and out i would be happy unfortunatley. Hes just that bad right now.

His play is really inconsistent. Some nights, he does what he's supposed to do, other nights he just falls asleep offensively and can't deliver. But i'm really happy to see Ron is still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.
