Bad offensive game but good defensive game, locked up Anderson most of the time he was on him and made a key steal against Durant last game.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

This guy has to be below average on defense now.
He couldn't do anything to slow down Beasley. That's the case far too often now. He just isn't quick enough to play defense on a consistent basis. For every good game, there seems to be 3 or 4 bad games.

Pau and Metta if we cant move these guys then reduce their roles and responsibilities. They cant be counted on late in the game during critical stretches. They are the supposed 2 time champs but they play like chumps. Make too many dumb mistakes, cant defend, cant convert open opportunitites. Not reliable at all for anything

Too inconsistent and is getting worse at defense by the day. He still has quick hands for steals but manning up with someone at the 3 he just can't do.. getting lit up by Michael crackhead Beasley is inexcusable and he needs to go.

This guy has taken a huge dive. He was playing very respectably earlier in the season, but lately he has been downright awful. His ball stopping absolutely destroys the offensive flow. He usually gets blocked or bricks and it leads to fast breaks for the opossing teams. He's not even knocking down open shots at a respectable rate anymore either. On top of that, his defense has been terrible also. Pierce, Beasley, and Bron absolutely abused him on the grammy trip. He still has the strongest hands on defense but that's pretty much it. He just doesn't have the foot speed to defend the perimiter anymore.

And Metta then has a good defensive performance tonight. He did what he was supposed to do with Clark on the team. Attack inside, fight for rebounds, and play defense. He did well at that tonight especially a lot of hey plays down the stretch on an off game for Kobe.
Good game fro Metta. They need to keep him in thhe rebounding post attacking mode. With no Gasol that's the perfect role for him cause Clark will spread the floor better.

Could have resigned Barnes. Metta had nothing to do with it. Barnes was even playing with us in our pre-training camp workouts and drill running. The Lakers decided to gamble on Ebanks instead which they regret. Ebanks got the chance over CDR and Barnes and has disappointed badly.
