are you serious that they got "lucky" turning the ball over 3 times inside the red zone? brees is legit and they already knew that he was going to get his. As long as they kept on playing and didn't give up they knew they had a shot. There's a reason it's harder to score in the red zone... because the defense only has to cover 30 or so yards so its a lot harder to find windows and lanes. C'mon. This defense is legit and intercepted 2 passes from Brees'. It's not like he just threw it up for grabs. They've been intercepting passes and forcing fumbles all season long.great game but I dont wanna hear anything more about the 49ers #1 defense. They got torn up. 461 yards. They were lucky as [expletive] that NO turned the ball over 3 times in the 1st qt inside the niners 20.

actually 1 interception was legit and awesomely athletic.are you serious that they got "lucky" turning the ball over 3 times inside the red zone? brees is legit and they already knew that he was going to get his. the other was a bomb thrown on 3rd and 9 with 31 seconds left in the 1st half.
Brees chucked it and it was picked.

Tom Brady is by far the best QB still. Looks like my Patriots pick is looking good.
Pats vs Giants rematch!?!?
No, he's not. smh
Guess what happened when the Boston played the NY Giants this season? They lost.

Yeah Brady just threw 6 TD passes ya know.. He's the best no contest.
Where are Brees and Rogers at!? LMAO
He did it against the Denver Broncos. An average team with an average defense and an average to below average QB in Tim Tebow.
Brees and Rodgers went up against superior defenses.

are we talking about the same game?actually 1 interception was legit and awesomely athletic.
the other was a bomb thrown on 3rd and 9 with 31 seconds left in the 1st half.
Brees chucked it and it was picked.
the 1st interception was barely athletic. goldson read the play perfectly and stepped into the lane to intercept the ball. that was with 1:07 left i the 1st qtr so plenty of time.
the 2nd interception was definitely athletic. he had to jump over the saints player to catch the ball at its highest point all while making sure to secure the ball as he was going down. this was the first play after the 2 minute warning in the 2nd qtr which is plenty of time (especially for a qb like brees). most likely a set play out of the timeout so it wasn't just an up for grabs ball. both interceptions were legit.
both interceptions im sure brees saw something where he could fit the ball into but the defense forced the turnovers both times.
if you don't want to give the 49ers defense credit then that's fine but you don't have to take away their defensive abilities. the niners defense made the catches while the lions could not. the lions also had a number of times they could've easily forced turnovers but could not catch the ball.
