Demarcus Cousins just demanded a trade.

Should the Lakers try to make a run at this guy, who is both the biggest talent in the league as well as the biggest basket-case.

He wants a starting role and big minutes, things we can't offer him.

If we trade Bynum/others for Dwight and Gasol for Cousins, I'm up for it.

I don't know what's up with this kid. He had major attitude problems. He has talent, but he needs to humble himself if he wants to be successful.

Wow people just post anything without thinking about our current roster, and what we actually need.

There are plenty of threads, discussing what we need...A PG, back-up SG, Dwight Howard/D-Will and several scenarios that could help our team.

But, sometimes a team also need to think ahead a little bit (further than the remaining 3 years of Kobes contract) and perhaps try to take advantage of a situation, when it presents itself. Cousins clearly is being shopped, and with his bagage the price is reduced. He also needs to be on a REAL team, with proper leadership - both from the ownership and from the other players. Would i give up a lot to get him, no, not really, but he is so talented that the Lakers still should consider trying to get him.
