Is it a good phone? I am thinking of upgrading ( I have the very first and original droid - the one that came out 4 years ago), so I am shopping around to see which one phone is the best. I am looking for something light and fast. I have Verizon and I think I am going to lose my unlimited data plan because of their changes, but ohh well.
I think the one X is the best phone out right now, but Verizon doesn't have it

in the same exact boat...my dad has an iphone 5, and a galaxy SIII, and he leans towards the GSIII...I'm curious if anyone here has been able to get their hands on both an iPhone 5 and a Galaxy S III. I'm leaning towards getting the Galaxy, but would like the opinion of someone who's been able to use both.
i've never purchased an apple product before (for myself) and was for the first time considering the iphone 5...but i'm more than likely going to go w/ the GSIII

I guess if you're on an iPhone 4 or 4S, the I5 would be a great upgrade. Now if you've been on Android, I'd say go for the S3 or wait for the Note II which is going to be the first quad core phone with LTE in the US. Can't go wrong with any 3 though.in the same exact boat...my dad has an iphone 5, and a galaxy SIII, and he leans towards the GSIII...

Yessir, that should be out soon. Its kinda funny that you brought that up, I'm currently on the international HTC One X, when JB hits it, the phone is going to be a beast. Too bad its gonna be restricted to AT&T and T-Mobile.One X+ will have quad with LTE too

How's the battery life?
I work 12 hour shifts and use my phone a lot during work including a Microsoft Exchange account syncing all day.
By the time I get home I still have about 30% left minimum after over 12hrs off the charger

Nah sound on jb is great, sense with beats is just a system wide equalizer which you can do yourself with JB.
In fact I'm running a mod that that blows beats out of the water.

so what phone will be better?
HTC One X
iPhone 5
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Imo, HTC One X.
HTC One X has a bigger screen than the iPhone, it has a better front camera, same back camera, has better bluetooth (aptX), same wifi, NFC (which iPhone does not have), offers better battery life than iPhone and cheaper to get an extended battery, cheaper than the iPhone5, opensource, less restrictions than iOS.
Edit: Almost forgot, the processor in the HTC One X is a speed demon. nVidia Tegra technology supersedes Apple's A6 processors in the iPhones.
They have the same amount of disk space, except for Apple's most expensive iPhone model (64gb).
The only thing iPhone has over the HTC One X is a different GPS technology, which is GLONASS, whereas HTC One X uses aGPS (and in Apple's most expensive iPhone model, disk space).
The technical facts say the HTC One X is better. It just may be a user preference to get the iPhone over the HTC One X.
And from my experience, even the HTC Evo is better than the newest iPhone.

What mod are you using?
Lala, I'm sure there is an app to install Beats on certain phones.

The bad: Sadly, HTC One X owners can't claim quad-core bragging rights. Also, the nonremovable battery and lack of SD card slot weaken an otherwise incredible Android smartphone.
