Haha, Miami already chanting "Beat LA"
They are chanting "We want Ray" to taunt the Celtics cause they have Ray Allen now.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Barbosa looks good wow. Made a mistake not picking him up
It was Barbosa's choice to choose the Celtics over us...
That ain't on our front office

well we waited like 2 months to sign him. Hes not gonna be sitting around waiting on us. We had ample time

In the end Barbosa chose the Celtics over us and said he even felt the Celtics fit his style more. Not on us if we were still talking to him and he chose the Celtics. That's on Barbosa tbh. If he felt the Celtics suited his style more(his own words) more power to him.
End of the day, both us and Boston pursued him, he chose Boston. So that was his choice.

No [expletive]. He's always been good. Career 40% 3PT shooter, career 46% shooter overall from the field, career 12 points per game off the bench and an array of ways to create his own shot.Barbosa looks good wow. Made a mistake not picking him up

Yea complete ignore the other variables that went into that decision.
That's not ignoring variables

But hey guys! I'm a true point guard! I fit the system better! Forget scoring!
Thing is you're actually correct.
And it looks to me like barbosa is playing the 2 right now.
Fact of the matter is, we had Meeks, so getting Barbosa was a long shot to begin with, but yet the Lakers kept contact with him and were trying to unload Duhon/Blake there's a reason for that.
But Barbosa signed with the Celtics rather than wait to see what happened there. We didn't give up our pursuit but he decided to join the celtics rather than wait on us. That's on him really, you can't blame him but at the end of the day no matter which way you slice it, he chose the Celtics while we were making moves that would have given him a viable spot on our team had they gone through.

Both us and Boston were in talks with Barbosa and at the end of the day he chose the Celtics. There is a reason Mitch was trying to trade away Duhon or Blake. That's a variable you're ignoring
lol wrong.

lol wrong.
No, actually its well documented Mitch was trying to trade Blake/Duhon or both during the pre-season. The talks of such things died down the moment Barbosa signed with the Celtics.
Gee.. I wonder why...
I'll say what I said up there

fyi barbosa has been doing most of his damage from the 2, not the backup 1. Just food for thought.
