The problem with the Rockets is that they don't have that "dawg" player in their roster. All of them are too carefree or too loose. In addition, they don't play serious defense. They are content to shoot threes and outscore their opponents. Unfortunately, that is a recipe of disaster in the playoffs

Durant pissed he didn't get the ball.

I think you could make the case that all in all mentality-wise, Pat Beverley may have the most "dawg" in him out of any of them & when a guy like PB (as good to solid as he is) has the most "dawg" on him on your team, that's not good.

True statement...it is similar to the Clippers. Paul can't be the guy with the most "dawg." That's why both of those teams would be at best a second round exit. But hey as long Howard is having "fun" he is fine with it.

Durant choked hard in the 4th scoring just 1 point

Good for OKC though that it was even a close one

Not surprised. It's typically a lot harder for him without Westbrook. His percentage goes down. It takes more out of him.

The Thunder needs a playmaking point guard. They rely too much on Westbrook and Durant to carry the load. That's why Miami owns them because they can just shut down Durant and Westbrook, and basically the Thunder can't operate anymore.

They were rested if I'm not mistaken correct? Portland was on a back-to-back.

I still wasn't expecting it to be that close or OKC to even be leading by 16 at one point against the 2nd or 3rd best team in the West

Raptors beat the Pacers by 13

They've been looking great since the Gay trade.

They sure have. I hope they keep winning and I hope the Nets can somehow start playing at least a little better. Heck I hope every team in the East somehow starts winning at least just a little more. We are now that bad that I'm starting to keep an eye out on other abysmal teams for our potential draft placement.
