Yep, Knicks looking like a team that peaked early and is faltering late.
Is Carmelo playing? I know Felton isn't. Which is a HUGE blow to the team imo. We know all about how your team can struggle when the point guard is gone.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

91-79 this game looks over for the Knicks. Then again Portland is no joke, they've really turned it around from the beginning of the season, they are 10-1 now, that 1 loss being a blowout to us.

Blazers beat Knicks, 105-100. Melo 45 points, Lillard had 21. Stoudemire 6 points 3 dunks and some poor defense.

Knicks can be contained if the defense does not help out on their guard penetration. Thats why the Knicks have been punking the Heat because Lebron/Wade keep helping off their man which leaves the Knicks shooters open or space for perimeter ball movement. Now in the Christmas game, the Lakers defense adjusted to challenge the guards(either Felton or Kidd) to score in the paint, Kobe/MWP stayed with their man and even Dwight remained glued to Chandler. Because Felton was not a consistent scoring threat and Kidd was looking to make passes that weren't there, this completely stalled the Knicks ball movement and almost every possession in crunch time for the Knicks resulted in a missed Felton teardrop or a contested jumper. Don't remember too many open looks for the Knicks in that game, definitely helped the Lakers pull off the victory.

They have what I call Post Lakers syndrome.
They give their heart and soul to the Lakers game and then they have nothing emotionally left in the next one
Thats why Brewer goes off for 28 off the bench and then the next night he goes for 0.
If the Clippers are gonna start getting the Lakers treatment from other teams now they are in for a rude awakening =p
