I would be shocked if the Clippers lost though.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

In big games, it always seems like Westbrook is hurting more than he helps.
Seriously. For such a good player, he seems to make bad plays at the wrong time. He can kill their momentum at times.

I think the Thunder should've went for another quick 2 there at the end because they had one more timeout.

One of my big concerns this entire time about the Lakers' poor start is that the middle/bottom West playoff teams look good. The Lakers are going to have to do a lot of work to make their way up the standings.

Kendrick Perkins is a piece of crap. Why he even gets big minutes for the Thunder is beyond me. He is horrible at everything.
But who could they honestly replace him with though?? ... At least next draft they will have some good picks and probably pick a good big man they can develop

The Rockets are dominating the Bulls right now.

Bigger question is what teams are actually gonna be able to sustain their middle to bottom play?

They were in talks with Phoenix about Gortat earlier this year. Dunno if that will ever happen.

Man...[expletive] our record. Now, I actually have to root for the Clippers, Heat, Thunder, Spurs if they play middle of the road teams fighting for playoff spots with us....Ughhh.
Well the thing is this. If the Clippers beat Denver today and we beat Denver tomorrow that helps us a lot.
The game against Denver tomorrow is VERY important for us and we can't afford a let down because Denver will be coming with a vengeance.

That's the thing. Of all the teams in the playoffs right now, I don't really see a team that I definitely think is going to drop off significantly.
I may be wrong, but Golden State, Houston, Denver, and Minnesota seem legit to me.

Denver, Minnesota, and Houston are questions to me, even Golden State.
Golden State and Houston are top of the lists in turnovers and it will bite them both eventually and it actually already has been, though Houston seems to have an idea how they want to play now. Minnesota is struggling and Rubio has come back too early. Denver sort of seems like a barely making 8 seed right now, there's just something incomplete about them.
So I think those are teams that are gonna start falling. Golden state isn't going to finish top 5, I just don't see it really.
Minnesota I REALLY see struggling especially with Love's injury issues this season and Rubio coming back too soon. I think that the right teams are starting to slow down right when we're picking up momentum.
The key for us is to keep the momentum going and not take games for granted.
The next game for us against Denver and our one against Houston after are VERY big games for these reasons.
