It is not that. It is that Mike freakin Brown keeps his starters out there for no reason. They need to rest for tomorrow.

i hope we dont go on a losing streak

I honestly thought we were going to lose to Dallas I was surprised we beat them so just replace that game with this game. We'll regroup.

As soon as the 2nd quarter hit, it was over. It always seems to be that quarter that dooms the Lakers.

I'll give my analysis on the game and point out what I saw.

Firstly, Lakers completely lost the game in the 2nd quarter. They had no idea how to guard the PnR. That goes on the coach. Those PnRs opened up the entire court for SAS and got them in rhythm, which is probably why they shot 60%.

Now, it took Mike Brown, the supposed "Defensive Specialist", a complete quarter to figure out how to slow down the PnR. Mid way through the 3rd, LA started to get some stops because they started to show and force the ball handler to the opposite side of the pick. But it was too late because SAS was having an incredible shooting game and was in rhythm from the 1st half.

Offensively, LA tried to force it down low way too much which caused lots of turnovers leading to easy points for SAS.  But gotta give credit to SAS for picking up their intensity.

Didn't watch the fourth quarter, and parts of the third...first time I've done that with a Lakers game all season long.

Game was over once Popovich decided to pick and roll us to death. Honestly, it may have been over before it started, when Pop saw the Thunder drop their game last night, if you want to know the truth.

It comes as no surprise, at all, to see Popovich start Splitter for the first time this season. Also, not surprised that their big three beat our ass to the tune of 63 points, including Parker's 29. Parker and Duncan alone outscored the bench (and that bench includes Manu's 15).

How much did Pop want this game? He limited Drew and Pau to a combined 14 boards, after playing Blair far too much in the first meeting (experimenting) and watching as DeJuan gave up 30 boards to Andrew ALONE.

If I was Popovich, I would have rested my guys...but apparently, he's not afraid of Memphis. Given the circumstances, the outcome of this game shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone.

We can't afford any more losses if we want to keep the 3rd seed.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever
