It's the 2nd game of a back to back to back for the Spurs, so hopefully they rest some of their players for the game.
if that happens then i look forward to a W

Without that into play, assuming the Spurs are wanting the top seed (and maybe they don't), I don't see why Pop would rest the big three on the second night of a B2B.
EDIT: The Spurs play the Kings right after, next night...so it's a back-to-back-TO-BACK. That changes everything.

the Spurs has a back to back to back starting tonight. don't be surprised if Pop rest his big 3 against us
Depends on the standings. I wish I could get into Pop's head, to figure out if he's trying to avoid the Grizzlies or not. SA will be a one or two seed, no matter what, and right now, the Grizzlies are 5th...which means the Spurs can avoid them clear up until the WCF (if the Grizz or Spurs even get there).

No Tim Duncan. No Tony Parker. No Manu Ginobili. Night off for Big Three vs. Warriors
Interesting. Logically, they would rest them in the 2nd game when playing 3 games in 3 days so that they don't play back to back at all.
EDIT: They ended up playing against the Warriors.

Why is that bad news?

Why is that bad news?
Resting them tonight means they won't rest them tomorrow, which I thought they would do because it would be the 2nd of a back to back to back.

Call me optimistic, but I think the Lakers can beat SA again even if Manu, Parker, and Timmy are playing. I guess SA just doesn't scare me like that. I watch a lot of Spurs games and their depth straight up overwhelmes teams and at times they look dominant. I just dot think that they match up well with the Lakers.

So, maybe they don't play tomorrow.

If I'm Pop, I'm resting the big three against the Lakers, then taking them in there against the Kings and blowing them out by halftime, and relying on the bench to at least hold a decent lead.
That gives the three maximum rest, even if it costs us (the Spurs, assuming I'm Pop) a loss.
Memphis could land #4-5 seed, which puts them in the opposite side of the bracket, if San Antonio stays #2. I think that's the plan.
