If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Dude we could lose almost every game and still make it. And a draft pick@ this rate we may not make the playoffs ... At least then we get a good draft pick

In the extremely unlikely event that the Lakers don't make the playoffs....the Lakers would get, at best, the 20th pick. It would be a lose-lose situation.
