Other than those 3 dunks Blake got, Pau played terrific defense on him and blocked him a few times. F YEAH PAU!!! Thats whats up

We almost blew it with those stupid substitutions early in the 4th. I'm still pretty pissed that I saw a Blake/Barnes/Metta/Gasol/Bynum lineup out there, especially when the Clippers had 3 legitimate ballhandlers on the opposite side. Sticking Blake on Young for the game? Really? Nearly blew it. Kobe's clutch shooting and Sessions' drive to the bucket saved us in this one.
Happy with the W, not happy with how hard we made the game in the 4th quarter.

Did you guys notice how Kobe let the offense come to him ? He didn't force the ball in the 4th and really let Sessions orchestrate on offense. I liked it. First I thought he's playing WAY too passive, but that clutch shot made up for his passiveness

Huge win that's like winning 2 games right there, not only are we up 2.5 games up on them but we get the tiebreaker now. Now we have to figure out how to have more consistent games like this one we had in the first 3 quarters.

Yeah but I'm very glad we were reable to get a handle on things and get a nice lead WITHOUT Kobe having to come off the bench early. Bynum did the thing tonight. Gasol did too at some points and Ramon came on when he is supposed to.
Would have liked to see less turnovers as most were unforced. But all and all good effort tonight. Got a lot of good stops and once Artest had Paul timed he was able to make those key defensive plays. Metta may not be all Ron like he used to be but he's still one of the best perimeter defenders in the game and that's an ace we have.
All and all good effort, we saw the good and the bad from the Lakers tonight but the positive side of it is we saw little of the bad and a lot of the good when it's usually half and half.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Kobe likes to drill those clutch shots against his former teammates. 1st was against Trevor Arizas, 2nd was against Jordan Farmar, and now against Caron Butler. And earlier this year Fisher buried a clutch shot against Lamar Odom. Too bad the Lakers didn't get a chance to beat Fisher last week. LOL

Whats going on with Kobes clutch plays lately.He's nuts. 
On the other side i think we cant depend every night on his clutch performances .We need to step up and build a mentaly good team which will keep all those 10+ leads in the 4th.
However , it's a city rivalry and im happy we shut those Clipper fans.

Lakers still have to figure out how to not blow leads. Anything can happen when the game can be decided by a play or two, no matter how good they get at executing down the stretch. A missed call or the defense anticipating a pass can happen at any time.

Yeah hes been doing that ever since they got Sessions. Except for the game against the OKC Thunder, he forced like half of his shots in that game. And did you notice that Kobe likes to post under the rim now every first quarter of the game? he takes like 2-4 shots of those every game now since we got Ramon.
