Steve Blake watching him dunk on him didnt help eitherThere was no help defense either. They set screens for Westbrook all night and no help defense came.
Only Laker that tried on the offensive board was Bynum tonight. Kobe tried to force effort when other players were coming through. Gasol had a crap game and only had what 4 rebounds? Lack of effort in the areas that count like help defense and rebounding.

agreed. That was the issue. He's just allowing himself to be pulled out of games. He's not asserting himself for some reason

No Bynum can not have the offense ran threw him......he is not ready. And I don't see it workingKobe
Please
Hand the team over to bynum
Bynum needs more and more...
More
More
Bynum is unstoppable...
At least by any other players in the NBA
At least by any players in the NBA besides Kobe and Tyson Chandler....
And besides mike brown...
Kobe has a half dozen players in the NBA who can defend him well
Tony Allen
Thabo Sepholphosha
Shane Baittier
Bynum is a more unstopppable force.
If each had 24 shots a game it would be FAR better
On a unrelated note...
Fisher had a HUGE smile sitting on the bench

He's prob still trying to fit in
But honestly this loss doesn't like alarm me it's not like the team played hard or well and still got their asses handed to em by OKC, I'm not saying we'll beat them in a series but with their style I would not be surprised if we pull it out.

No hard screens are one reason. Sessions is a P&R point guard, when you set screens for him good things happen. Only Gasol and McRoberts set consistent screens for him. Kobe only sets halfhearted "pass to me" screens.
That needs to change.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

It's absolutely disgusting to watch this team play like this.

No loss has alarmed me. Artest is a playoff player. Officials allow more physical play and this allows Ron to be a better defender. The whole team is just built for the slower playoffs
The only loss that alarmed me was Memphis. And it was because our bench just showed me nothing. Still showing me nothing. Beasley would have made a world of difference. But now we just have to hope Blake and mcroberts pull their heads out of their asses

Fine Bynum $1000 every time he doesn't hustle back and allows a transition basket.
Fine the entire team $100 every time somebody is out-hustled for an offensive rebound/loose ball.
The entire [expletive]ing team would be bankrupt by the time the season was over.
