Lets not act like CP3 would've shut down Westbrook. These elite PG's are going to get theirs. Sessions didn't make him work on the other end of the floor though.

Thats not true at all.
OKC is simply a better team right now
They have been a better team all year but this was a night where we coulda had them, but we screwed it up for ourselves more so than OKC playing stellar basketball.

I think this pretty much confirmed what everyone was saying, we'll be lucky to get out of the West. We have a chance of making it to the WCF but thats as far as we'll go. It is what it is
Playoffs are a different style. Lakers roster is built for the slow down grind out playoffs

but the season means everything!!!
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

There was no help defense either. They set screens for Westbrook all night and no help defense came.
Only Laker that tried on the offensive board was Bynum tonight. Kobe tried to force effort when other players were coming through. Gasol had a crap game and only had what 4 rebounds? Lack of effort in the areas that count like help defense and rebounding.

I just see the same things from the Lakers to end last season. They're giving up offensive rebounds and allowing too much space on jumpers. The Lakers dramatically declined on defense after playing well on D to begin the season.
I would really love for the Lakers to be able to play the starters less minutes and see if fresher legs would help, but this team isn't deep enough to survive even a slight drop in minutes.

That was the issue. He's just allowing himself to be pulled out of games. He's not asserting himself for some reason

he scored a majority of them on Ramon and no helps on the screens he got for when Ramon was guarding him. Stop fabricating.
In the 3rd quarter when they went on that ridiculous run Westbrook was scoring at will before that he was shooting terrible... ... And Steve Blake only played good when fisher was in smh

we weren't anywhere near beating this team unless you count that weak ass flurry in the 1st qtr. After that, it was all OKC
