4 rebounds in 40 minutes is terrible for a 7 footer

51% shooting for the Grizzlies, 56 points in the paint, 43 bench points. Lakers straight up got out-worked tonight. Lakers should have lost by even more.

Every time you want to give the Lakers some credit, they manage to embarrass themselves.

It's the theme of the season.

Kobe roams on defense all the time, doesn't close out on jumpers and it's annoying.

+1!!!

You're right, I'm not trying to be racist it's just a quick way of categorizing that. Sorry that I made all the white people on here relive the daily discrimination they face.

I know I was joking when I saw it I realized I was wrong

MWP isn't great but this game definitely wasn't one of his worst. It was a lot of Murphy and McRoberts not doing anything. Blake letting people blow by him. And Pau not boxing out. Not everything is reflected by shooting percentages.

We have been dominant at home for the most part. Maybe this will humble us.

Isn't that what the recent Utah game was supposed to do?

Ya'll wanted Sessions to start and not run the bench!!! this is what happens when Blake has a bad shooting night  At least as a starter the bench still got going cause of Sessions. If you start Sessions you don't have that advantage.

His D has been and is atrocious. His reputation as a great defender is all that is left.

I couldnt agree more with that statement.

His roaming on Defense has been bad like that for years now it seems and shooting guards that ARE NOT STAR PLAYERS in any way at all light him up because he doenst close out. Sometimes it kicks us in the butt like tonight. Shane Battier and James Posey ring a bell..How about Raja Bell...some of there best games of their careers have been against Kobe shooting 3s because they are WIDE THE [expletive] OPEN

Just goes ways to prove that if Kobe doesn't get his 30 we are more than likely to lose.

That's what I had hoped but Utah isn't a threat to us Memphis is so maybe this will wake us up more

People still want Sessions to start and NOT get the bench going anymore?

Kept telling everyone that would listen I liked when Sessions ran the bench and finished quarters and got more minutes than Blake regardless on if he was coming off the bench.

Bench was 30+ points a game cause of him.

But Steve Blake doesn't deserve to start at all. It's our front office fault for not addressing the bench. Sessions should continue to start.

I've been saying that Ramon Sessions is not enough to get this team over the hump

Pau Gasol is GONE
