It's funny, I think this was one of the nights where I think Kobe should've jacked up more shots. I think his shot was better than other nights today, plus Pau wasn't giving the Lakers anything.

But here is the thing, Kobe was forcing too much, he was in a Triple team and Sessions was open for three, Kobe didn't pass. Sessions cut to the basket wide open, Kobe didn't pass. And the Lakers were playing way too much through him.

Mike Brown saw that, so he sat Kobe and made them have to play through their bigs while also stopping Kobe from trying to force the game, while also getting him some rest before San Antonio.

So all and all it was a smart move by Mike Brown. If you don't see that you're hating.

Kobe's shooting was fine. It was 7-15. He wasn't all that horrible. It was our bench. And Brown's bad rotations. That move to sit Kobe was just icing on the cake.

For those of you who think that benching Kobe was a good move, did you not see OJ Mayo go off in the fourth? No one was guarding him, Kobe could have prevented a couple of those baskets. I don't like that move from Brown. He [expletive]ed up by starting the 4th with Kobe and Bynum and tiring them both out. I called game over when I saw that happen.

And whoever compared him to Pop, PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop that. It's embarrassing.

At this point, you really have to be concerned with what you're getting out of Kobe and Pau.

People still want Sessions to start and NOT get the bench going anymore?

Kept telling everyone that would listen I liked when Sessions ran the bench and finished quarters and got more minutes than Blake regardless on if he was coming off the bench.

Bench was 30+ points a game cause of him.
