I told you guys. Even if Kobe was in the game, Grizzlies would still be shooting the ball well. Lakers lost this because of effort not because Mike Brown benched Kobe Bryant.


Lakers played better when Mike Brown benched him though no one here but one is gonna admit that it was a good decision by Brown.

in THIS situation of benching Kobe, Mike Brown was 100% right.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Well deserved loss for the Lakers. No consistent energy throughout the game and got outplayed by Memphis who got smashed yesterday.

Memphis played very well, and credit to them, but I just think we were missing a ton of shots (especially in the first half) and we gave up way too many transition points + second chance points. I'm not afraid of them in a series.

Besides, the Lakers were down 9 or 10. So, it wasn't like a small lead or something.

true. Memphis is legit. not some scrub team.


Honestly we are better than them even at full strength. But Blake can't be outplayed by Jeremy pargo and mcroberts and Murphy just can't be so useless
