Yeah but he wouldn't be the ONLY paint player either. And he won't be the only option for rebounds, is there anyone else on the magic that can rip down 15 rebounds like Gasol can? Didn't think so. If Bynum didn't have Gasol his numbers statistically would be similar to Dwights.

OMG you see it too.

Always have

That's why I find Bynums 20 20s impressive and when people say Dwight does it in his sleep I say Dwight doesn't have a Gasol to contend with for rebounds.

also dwight had rashard lewis and ryan anderson spreading the floor taking a big out of the paint. so dwight is one on one which he'll win almost every game since center is the weakest position in the NBA.

outside of howard, marc, bynum, and chandler its a toss up from game to game. sometimes cousins is ok, sometimes brook is ok and other guys show up here and there but the position is dead right now.

until andre drummond comes out of course

If he plays like crap we will.

How many times have we seen Gasol play one wonderful game and then not be aggressive for the next 3?

He wasn't aggressive tonight, he played his game, same as he does every game. He is by far the most consistent Laker, I don't understand why people hate on him so much.

no point in comparing dwight and bynum though. they are about as different as 2 centers can be.

Pau was awesome, why can't he play like this every game?

Arguably the greatest franchise ever
