Even though his numbers don' t show it Blake out there really helped us. The offense was organized and didn't get bogged down. Hard to play after such a long layoff but pretty good for the first time back. Big Win.
this. even though he didn't shoot well he made life easier for kobe, drew, and pau by controlling pace and getting into the lane, and making accurate post passes. that alone helped

If he plays like crap we will.
How many times have we seen Gasol play one wonderful game and then not be aggressive for the next 3?
pau is not a robot. humans have highs and lows. no one beasts every game.

Props to Pau and Drew! They played well. Artest sucked offensively but did a terrific job on the defensive end. Fish and Blake played terrible.
Offensively Blake is the reason we won too. And also he ran the offense much better and the bench unit didn't look so lost.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

This is why we got Artest. He shut down Pierce which won us the last title against the celts. And everyone complains about his contract???? SMHArtest played great defense tonight, gotta admit shut Pierce down on all but one play that he was guarding him on.

Wow, great win comng to the final seconds. But our bench still played terrible!
bench got 18 points tonight and only 4 members of it played. THAT is an improvement. And Barnes got 11 of those 18.

ThisKobe gets manhandled when he has the ball in the final seconds and then when he passes it his teammates can't make the shot....but a Win is a Win

this. when you need defense you can count on Artest most times.

@whatusaid Dwight does
dwight howard 2 games vs. boston this season
16pts 16rbs
18pts 14rbs 4-15 shooting
bynum
16pts 17rbs 6-15 shooting
at the end of the day boston's defense has always been collapse the paint. and they did that to dwight when dwight has 4 shooters around him

3rd option? He'd be the 2nd option.
Yeah but he wouldn't be the ONLY paint player either. And he won't be the only option for rebounds, is there anyone else on the magic that can rip down 15 rebounds like Gasol can? Didn't think so. If Bynum didn't have Gasol his numbers statistically would be similar to Dwights.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
