Honestly, I hope Kobe defends LeBron. Artest has done absolutely nothing in slowing him down over the last few years, and both Ebanks and Barnes will be eaten alive. Kobe is a high IQ defensive player, and like Battier, he knows how to use angles, defensive help, and LBJ's cold spots to hold him to an average percentage (like he did a couple of seasons ago, in both games vs. Cleveland).

That was Kobe's doing, on the defensive end. Walton and Radmanovic were not defending Bron.

I hardly ever predict Laker losses, but I don't see us winning this one. With or without Wade its just one of those games you don't feel good about. Our offense is trash, and to win we'll need feed Bynum all game long which we hardly ever do..

I see Miami winning by about 8, our team plays bad forcing Kobe to do everything.

Bynum should dominate, or post good numbers atleast, don't see any heat player capable of stopping him. In my opinion he'll be the key to winning this game.

I hope kobe feeds him the ball. More importantly, I hope bynum will be aggressive. And I hope the team shows up! so kobe doesn't have to do too much again, don't wanna see another 7/22 anytime soon.

I don't even know about this game, seriously. LeBron has pretty much dominated Kobe in head to head matchups and in the past few years LA has been embarrassed also. The 08-09 season was the last time the Lakers defeated a LeBron team. I wonder if we will play a zone against Miami and force them to take outside jumpers.


Hopefully Pau and Drew play well inside, because we will need that. It should be a good game and I'm hoping for the win but it wouldn't surprise me if Miami wins even without Wade.

Exciting for this game potential Finals preview. If Wade is out we should win. Pound the ball inside and as RD said put Kobe on LeBron. Artest can't guard James anymore.

I'd be fine with Barnes on James, he won't give him anything easy and is a lot more quick than Kobe. We'll need Kobe badly this game to step up so he needs to save his energy for offense.

I think last time it was Christmas and we tried to feed our bigs and Chris Bosh made a fool of those guys. We need a huge game from Kobe with the others still helping out enough to get a W.

We can't beat the Heat though. LeBron will have a huge game like a triple double game especially if they lose to the Spurs tonight.

Wade will likely be out. Mike Brown knows LeBron and his style of offense. he will come up with a solid defensive strategy. I hope Pau actually toughens up and defends Bosh, unlike last time when he was abused. Someone needs to step up and make plays. Morris looks completely scared out there. All he does is dance with the basketball and kick it out. We need to hit our shots and get our bigs involved. Most important thing in my opinion is to defense the 3.

That has no relevance to the fact that LeBron dominates Kobe in head to head match ups.

If Kobe is unable to stop LeBron, there's a big chance we lose this one, even with them missing Wade. Metta has gotten destroyed by LeBron the last two years and his offense is so pitiful that we'd be playing 4-on-5 on the other end. I don't have enough faith in Barnes or Ebanks to really hinder LeBron at all. If our big men get in foul trouble, it's going to be an ugly night.
