have u guys noticed how stu lantz is always saying that the sf position is a scorer position and that they need that at the 3. I disagre with that because we have four guys on the starting lineup that average double figures and we need a defensive specialist and i feel that ariza will average 8-10 points a game on pure hustle plays and plus the steals he makes i think are more important to what we need and if odom becomes the 6th man that makes radmonovic be the backup sf and lamar the backup pf instead of radmnovic the backup pf and ariza sf.
this would be my 10 man rotation
Derek/Jordan
Kobe/Sasha
Trevor/vladimir
Pau/Lamar
Andrew/chris

with Josh,Cj,Luke,Dj,Sun as our garbage time players

I'm with Worthy - start Radmanovic

A shooter to pull the D out of the paint and get another scoring threat from the outside.

Lamar could be deadly off the bench.

We need a shooter as a 3. kobe can just give it to him or fisher to knock down the triple once hes doubled or tripled or he can give it to the twin towers.

i agree radmonovic plays good when kobe pau and bynum are on the floor because he gets open shots he can be our peja but younger more athletic and less hair

The 3 is where a shooter needs to be, at least for offense, not underestimating defense.

In the simulation games, my 3 can be left wide open, and when that is Lamar, I hesitated to pass to him. But if it's Kobe, you bet I'm shooting that 3.

I would say depends on the opposition.. If its a fast SF like Marion then start Trevor, If its a slow mo who likes to shoot alot and bang alittle, then Put Vlad in...

It'll run just like the Spurs do. Ginobili doesn't start but he gets the lion's share of the minutes.

Here, we have Vladi (or Ariza as mentioned above for match-up reasons, but mostly Vladi as the first 3) and Odom backing them up. Seriously, Odom could win 6th man and be absolutely killer off the bench. It frees up so much room down low and makes the bench even more ridiculously loaded.

Starters:
C - Bynum (strength on low post on both ends)
PF - Gasol (strength on high post on both ends)
SF - Radmanovic (weapon on the perimeter / still 6'10" for front court size)
SG - Bryant (slashing / mid-range / long range weapon / D on all levels)
PG - Fisher (initiator / baseline runner / shooter from mid-range out)

1st Bench Unit:
C - Mihm (presence in low post / shot blocking threat)
PF - Odom (playmaking / mid-range shot / strength in low post)
SF - Ariza (athleticism, defense on perimeter to elbow level)
SG - Vujacic (weapon from outside / quick switch defender)
PG - Farmar (speed on outside into middle / speed on perimeter D)

(Mbenga, Walton, Karl as your utility guys)

Only way you think that LO wins 6th man of the year is if you think the other starters force him to take a backseat and he is NATURALLY aggressive.

It's not LO's starting status that has caused him to be labeled as inconsistent and a waste of talent. LO is not NATURALLY aggressive...nor is he a strong leader. And scoring without a hot poker at his rear? Not close.


So...6th man of the year? Seriously doubt it.

I think starting Radman wouldn't be a bad idea. He's great on the offensive end but even though he's not as good at the defensive end, you can always put in Ariza or Odom to fill that void.

Starting him wouldn't mean that he would get more minutes then Odom or Ariza, so I don't see it as a bad thing.
