A part of his right foot was amputated. A very sad story.My link

I can't find any news of him after 2008. The article said he was very interested in school. I hope he found something in his life to replace basketball.

Oh wow! Had no idea. No wonder never saw anything more from him or any signs of him possibly joining the NBA. I thought man, how often do you see a 7'9 Center who's at least decent, that's an NBA player for sure, but now I know why, thanks.
