So wait does Brooklyn signing lopez with max contract end there saga for dwight. Im confused
If lopez signs they cannot trade him until December. So yes.

In addition, the Nets don't have any more pieces (they didn't really have any assets anyways) to attract the Magic.
Damn, the Nets have three huge contracts to three players that doesn't deserves their big contracts.
Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson, and last but not least Brook Lopez

Brook Lopez and the Nets are moving toward a maximum contract, acording to sources.
Billy King and agent Arn Tellem are finalizing the length of the deal, either four years for $58 million or $78 over five.
There will be protections on the back end to account for a possible injury to the right foot Lopez broke twice in the past year.
Lopez has been included in trade talks for Dwight Howard.
If Lopez signs a deal with the Nets, he can't be dealt until December.
The Nets are waiting for the Magic to make a decision on whether they want to trade for Lopez.
