How is the trade even eligible to be terminated?

New Orleans was getting Odom, Kevin Martin, Scola, Dragic and pics. How the F*** is that a bad deal?

Wow. Can't believe this [expletive] just happened. Even CP3 is disappointed. Can you imagine being him? Being congratulated by friends and family. Probably texting Kobe and whatnot... Such BS. I seriously can't believe Stern agreed to this.

WTF does this mean? So the NBA won't approve of any deal that sends Paul to us?

I just went from being extremely excited for the season to considering boycotting the NBA. This is just ridiculous

This is BS. Regardless of whether you like the deal or not, how can David Stern just veto a deal that is legal within the CBA rules? F the other owners. This is hypocritical bs.

I think we need to let the NBA know, on a wide scale, that we're done with the bull[expletive]. No more NBA product for me.

Disgraceful. The owners can go [expletive] themselves.

Someone confirm, was it the other owners who forced the trade to be canceled or Jim Buss wanted to drop out? I'll be pissed the [expletive] off either way.

Honestly it just seems like sour grapes for not being able to get Chris Paul themselves.

So let me get this straight.....

David Stern was able to lead a group of owners and stand his ground against the players union resulting in games lost for the season but he can't stand his ground for more than 5 hours before giving in to cancel a trade?

If im the Lakers, I would love to know under which circumstances the trade can be canceled? New Orleans made out with a very good package of players. If i'm the Hornets, Im pissed as well.

I'll say this.... this situation is far from over.

Yahoo and ESPN sources are saying it was the NBA owners who convinced Stern to intervene.
