Mitch Kupchak is honestly one of the best gms in the league, but he is also a gm that can get away with things.

KOBE. #VINO. BRYANT.

It's not about losing Sasha, it's about losing another first-rounder. Those first-round picks are guaranteed money, but not THAT much money when they are late firsts.

When you consider us losing that pick, you'd think we'd do something with this TPE before it expires, anything small...even if it means trading it for a newly-drafted player that has a minimum contract, or a late first (ex. Nolan Smith)...but no, probably nothing.

^ I'm thinking the same thing unfortunately RD. Probably NOTHING. Hope I'm wrong, really do, but I doubt it.

Did you forget Shannon Brown bolted and Kobe didn't have a backup?

Where'd Shannon go?

Read a couple places that Lakers might let Sasha's TPE expire but they will definitely use the one from the Odom trade eventually.

^ How do you feel about that West Coast? Are you happy with that? & the Odom TPE, you say eventually? Eventually can mean a long time or actually never as well realistically.

yo.

it is going to expire, there just aren't any good deals out there or they would make it.

Looks like about the half the teams in the league didn't use their exceptions either
