Lou Williams would be a glass of Don P Champagne compared to the Pabst Milwaukee Beer PG's we got.
Lou is quick and can pop tres surrounded by the squad he would be playing with. And hes a good 1 on 1 defender.
He'd get the job done for us. What are the possibilities of acquiring him MDI? You know all the salary/trade option stuff.

Damn that same reporter just said Philly said those rumors are untrue Lol. He and Jrue Holliday are a fun 1-2 Combo at PG

Maybe they aren't actively shopping him, but I think they would move him for a good offer. I just don't think a guy that plays 20 minutes a game is untouchable.

We do need a PG that can be a difference maker, but I wouldn't feel comfortable offering up our most viable trading pieces for one. I'd prefer us to focus on bringing Dwight to LA as he'll be a legitimate difference maker for the next 7-8 years and control the paint. From there, we can focus on shoring up the problem at PG. With Dwight inside, I'd bet that opposing guards would be more tentative driving in for fear of getting swatted aside or knocked flat by Howard.

In fact, we wouldn't even need an elite PG, but just someone that can keep their man in front of them, hit open shots, and move the ball around. I'm sure we could find a middle-tier PG without having to give up our biggest trading pieces. However, it will have to wait until we're done pursuing Dwight Howard. That should be our number one priority.

You NEVER trade size for a PG, it's not done - and for good reason.

And yes, exactly L.A.K.E.R., exactly.

I agree with your guys opinions. However I dont care how they get a decent pg as long as they do. Cuzz I want a chip this year. Real talk KB doesn't have a whole lotta years left. I want KB to get ring #6. And even with Dwight in the paint this coming season, if we dont have our severe problems at the 1 sewn up we aint winning a chip.

Why not a guy like Delonte West. I know he is insane, but he can defend quick PGs which is what we need the most from our PG.

Delonte West is a ticking time bomb. He's got the necessary skill, but he's completely messed up in the head.

As a last option and we have no other legit pg's were able to sign then I say yes go for D West.
But I hope we have a great team psychiatrist.
An occasional crazy incident on or off the court is worth it compared to our pg's giving up dribble penetration 99% of the time for the entire season.

I wouldn't mind Delonte all his problems have always off the court or out of the locker room and he's cheap we wouldn't have to give anything up.

I'm going by what Shaq said in his book about Delonte West not liking the fact that Brown would refuse to criticize Lebron during film.

O I don't even think that's a big deal, I'd still take Delonte West over or PG's.

I say do a 3 or 4 team trade for Dwight and Nelson. Problem Solved. :glasses:

http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=7p77r9u
or
http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=cfb97ga

http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=7drt7r2 lol

there's so many possibilities. if they cant get nelson with Howard, they are other decent pgs.

yea...obviously packaging Dwight and Jameer would be awesome but that would be serving up the Larry O'Brien Trophy on a silver platter.

If the Lakers do go after Dwight., I think they should give them Bynum and Gasol in exchange for Dwight, Turkoglu, and their help to pry Lou Wiliams away from the Sixers.

I would love this line-up:

C: Howard
PF: Odom
SF: Turkoglu
SG: Bryant
PG: Lou Williams
