Well I don't think we can win this 1st game mainly cuz we just are kinda screwed. We have bynum out kobe is hurt and who knows how much he will play, and we are still going to be learning this new offense with a new coach. But mainly we have to play the bulls. Dont be surprised if things look bad. But I in no way will take a lost bad because we are in a bad spot for then next 4 games. By then bynum will be back and kobe should be healed pretty well by then. Also our team will be getting into a bit of a groove with the new coaching and offense. I would wish we could have played an easier team than the bulls in the 1st game cuz of our position right now but watev. But do get ready for the doomsday people who know nothing and will be ranting about how our season is over cuz we lost.

I'm expecting us to come out hard without Bynum and an injured Kobe this game is gonna be tough but we can take Chicago if Pau really steps up tmrw.

The Christmas day game against the Bulls will be one of the worst losses of the season. Going up against a team:

that knows how to play together,
plays great team defense,
Is hungry after losing last year,
is now better than last year with Rip,
and has a top 3 PG.



Add that the Lakers are worse than last year
lack a playmaker on the bench unit
will be without Bynum - thus nobody to protect the rim against THE BEST PENETRATING PG IN THE NBA
Kobe is hurt
they are learning a new offense
learning a new defense


Gasol playing center with Rose on the other side is a nightmare.
Boozer will destroy McBob.
Kobe will be spent trying to chase Rip around screens all day
Rose will get our whole front line in foul trouble


The Bulls have a coach that knows how to defend Kobe. Every team gets up to play the Lakers.

Lakers will lose by 20 points on national television and the sky will be falling in these forums. I would love to be wrong......but we couldn't play a team with worse matchups, youth and speed and hustle -- esp with Drew out.

I think Lakers will either win in a close game and they look good and everything with Gasol and Kobe having nice stats. OR they just get blown out and have all the Laker fans going crazy
