Shannon Brown (Sign and Trade)
~$5.2 mil Trade Exception

All things even, I don't know if the Sixers do this. But, they've been looking to get rid of Iggy and this saves them a ton of money and they get talent in return. They were rumored to be open to getting Luke Walton in return, so this looks a lot better in comparison to that.

If anything, I just thought I get this forum section started again, hah.

Nice to get the possible-trades-forum started again.

Iggy and Lou Williams for Odom and Brown, would be a dream scenario.

A wing combination of Kobe and Iggy with Artest and Barnes as backups would be awesome.

Dont think it will happen though. Philly is thin at the 3, and loaded at the 4, and dont need to trade one undersized sg for another.

Not necessarily. They have Evan Turner and will probably re-sign Thaddeus Young to play the 3. They may look to use their amnesty on Brand despite him being a productive player because of his contract, and Vucevic and Speights can play C.

Shannon Brown is used to playing lesser minutes, so I think he'll be better for them. The 23 minutes a game would actually be an improvement for him.

The Lakers should be able to do it though. The new tax rates don't go into effect for another 2 seasons and the new Lakers' TV deal makes ownership a lot richer.
