I want to get a NBA game with all the greats like MJ, Magic, Bird etc.
I know 2k12 has all those guys. So I wanted to see what EA Sports had to offer. But I dont even see NBA Live on the EA website anymore.
It says NBA Jamz.....thats wack.
Then I googled and it said something about NBA LIVE became NBA ELITE but it never came out and people were fired that made the game or something.
I just wanted to ask someone here to clarify. I guess I will buy 2k12 but just wanted to make sure.

Not sure about who all was fired (or if anyone was at all), but yes, they changed the name to NBA Elite, and it was horrible. The game was full of bugs, and they decided not to release it last year.
Guess they couldn't recover from this for a 2012 release:
By the way, go to PSN and look up NBA Jam: On Fire edition. It's $15 for the full game. Buy it...you'll love it, even if you're more into simulation.

That was soooo bad. After that the Live franchise is officialy dead imo. In the past I have only bought LIVE games. Never got a 2K NBA game before.
But I will be very happy with 2K12 ballin with MJ, Magic and Larry. No Bynum totem poles like Jesus at center court for me.....lol

Is 2K12 only players from the 80's/90's or are KB, Bron and all the current players in the game to?

They are on there for if the lockout ends n if you have it on 360 you can unclock em now with some heX coding lol.
