ya I seen it last night too, thought it was really good.
I loved the villain "Silva" played by Bardem, I wish there were more scenes that should his twisted mind but still good.
And I too liked casino royale a bit better.

It was kinda cool cuz the villain wasn't a typical bond bad guy where he wanted to destroy the world, he really wanted to take down M and the British agency.

I didn't care for him. Bardem is a great actor but i didn't like the character.
IMO he needed more back story. When he was in the cell. that was very interesting. Rat story. Other than that he was boring.

Boring? He'd have to be in the movie to be boring. Loved the movie but my biggest complaint was Bardem being severely underutilized
He had the introduction, the cell, and the finale
That was it. Maybe 20 total minutes of screen time. IMO a missed opportunity

Bardem sure wasn't boring in this film. But I also feel there should have been a bit more of a backstory to him as well. It just seemed as if, to me at least, he kinda appeared outta nowhere. Same goes to that one chic Severine (played by Berenice Marlohe). I really liked her, and for some reason I was expecting her to appear more as the movie was rolling, but that didn't happen. What happened to her in the film was random to me as well lol
But nonetheless, great movie. Definitely going to get it on DVD when it comes out
