wow, i am legitimately excited. been playing since GTA III and love every minute of every game. would absolutely love going back to a san andreas type feel. i also would like to create my own charactter

but i'll just be happy to be exploring cities and stealing cars again

GTA London and GTA II for me. Playing them was the thing i remember the most from my early childhood.

Yea Vice city is the smallest one, I think it's gonna be back in San Andreas hopefully nothing to do with CJ he wasn't as ruthless as Tommy vercatti or Niko that was kinda lame to me.

Well CJ was kind of a family guy so it made sense.

He was the most likable character but also the most boring. I hope its San Andreas and vegas again with a character you can create

I couldn't stand Niko Bellic. GTA4 just wasn't as fun as SA or VC, and a big part of that was because of him, lol.

Also, I hope they go back to the old feel when driving cars. The vehicles in GTA4 felt too loose...or something. Just odd.

I agree, I was saying that in RT last night, well at least about the cars, tried giving another shot last night and I gave up. Just wasn't cutting it.

GTA IV is a huge disappointment if you try to compare it to past games in the series. if you take it for what it is (and try to pretend SA and VC never existed) its not that bad, but when you compare it to the other games, it was a huge let down

^ yea, i played GTA4 twice..the first time i played it was when it first came out, and i hated it because i was constantly comparing it to the other games (the driving is so bad in 4 compared to the other games, and overall the game is so SLOW paced)

but then when i played 4 again 2 years later, i tried not so compare it to the other games, and saw it wasnt as bad as i first thought

I have played the GTA Series since the third game came out and I agree when you say Niko is not as charismatic as TV or CJ are. Frankly, I like Luis (from the Episodes) more than him. But GTA IV is great when it comes to graphics and, most of all, physics. I mean, when you hit somebody with a car in San Andreas, that poor guy literally flies away. On the other hand, in IV every single action causes a precise reaction.
I know IV was released in '08 so it had to be better than the previous games as far as those areas were concerned. But it's still a great improvement when compared to San Andreas or Vice City, let alone III.

I don't understand why you guys don't like the driving in IV. It felt pretty realistic to me. But maybe it's just because of the mods I installed.
I remember that once I had to play twice SA from the beginning because it was so mod-packed that it would crash every time I would go to downtown Los Santos. Only there! Don't ask me why...

I doubt they'll go with the black gangsta theme again, and SA is supposed to be all of Cali including Vegas not just LA.
