Disappointed with it actually.
The animation is pretty shoddy and the game play is mind numbingly repetitive.
There's a ton of glitches I've come across as well. Overall, it's just alright, really not that happy with it. I got about halfway through and stopped playing, not what a zombie game should be.

That first trailer that was released, the slow-mo rewind one was [expletive]ing amazing, made me wanna get the game based off of that, then I saw gameplay, saw some reviews and was disappointed, not getting it anymore.

It's not a must buy, that's for sure.
I'll still take either Left 4 Dead game over it any day of the week.

I dont have a reason to play dead island anymore though, I beat the game and maxed out every character 2 weeks after the game came out.

I feel bad I bought this game. It looks good in trailers, but it's not. One of the worse games I've played in a long time, and let's not start with the physical engine...

damn you got some pretty high standards, yes it wasnt easy on the eyes and it was full of glitches but it was aiight man, worst games? Jeebus.

Glitches that destroy game play fun and virtually no reason to come back to the game once you go through it isn't high standards.
At $60 a game, this should've been far better. Already returned it and moved on.
Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 all day over this trash.
