i dont think u know about this?Thoughts on kindles in general... I feel like people would just stick to their kindle apps on an iPad nowadays since there's obviously more things to do on an iPad than just read stuff. But that's just me. Never knew too many people who even bothered to want a kindle.

I do lol, I'm just saying people would seem to rather stick to their iPad or w/e instead. At the rate of how popular Apple products have sure grown today, iPads are gonna be more popular anyway.. so it's kinda hard, for me at least, to see how this Amazon Kindle Fire would be just as popular.i dont think u know about this?

Everybody keeps taking shots at me damn.
Amazon is a RETAIL company, not some tech specialist like Apple is. Damn I'm starting to sound like GP here...this is bad.

Remembering you're a huge fan of Amazon... this all makes sense
a company as big as amazon can very well hire their own staff for this type of thing you know?
You are TLN's Apple spokesman though...lolEverybody keeps taking shots at me damn.

I hate that some people are comparing this to the iPad. Get the [expletive] out of here. I am sure that is probably not even Amazon's intention. This is a much simpler device and extremely affordable. If they truly wanted to compete with the iPad, then obviously there'd be several more important features there and the price would be a little higher, though still lower than the iPad I'm sure. That is not out of the question though for potential future upgrades of this first Kindle Fire model.
As enthusiastic as I myself am though about this device and especially the bang for your buck factor, I am still going to wait for at least some more professional reviews as well as customer reviews when this thing officially comes out as I do on most solid to big purchases I make.

actually, this has nothing to do with me liking amazon, its just common sense..you said nobody would buy the kindle, yet its the worlds best selling e-reader (according to amazons website), so obviously people are interested in the productRemembering you're a huge fan of Amazon... this all makes sense
MAC OS woulnt be here if it wasnt for something called unix, look it upThis thing wouldn't exsist if it weren't for Apple.

GP, you seem to know pretty much everything about Apple so I figured I'd ask you. I heard something a while back that Apple was finally actually going to be getting flash? Is this true and if so, is it known more or less or exactly when and fair to assume that this would be to all of their devices (iPhone, iPad, Touch)?

Naw man Apple won't get flash. Flash is dying more and more everyday, so after all this time I don't think Apple will finally start using it.^ Humility FTW. Need more of that today.

If they did get flash I believe it'd be just for the iPad because they're huge into battery life and always improving that so I think they'd keep it out of the iPhone and touch.
