Or could any play in the NFL? In my opinion, Lebron would be my first choice. I think his combination of speed, strength, size, agility, etc. would be very effective in the NFL, although I don't think he would necessarily be great, only because he would see more athletes similar to him in the NFL than he sees in the NBA. I think that Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade would make good RB's and/or WR's. I think that players like Dwight Howard, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, etc. could possibly be decent on the defensive end, but I think they'd have to bulk up quite a bit (as would everyone). I actually think Shaq, in his prime, would be scary on the D.E. I'm not quite as sure about Kobe, especially as his athleticism is diminishing, but in his prime, I think he would certainly have a shot (deceptively strong and fast in his prime).

Curious what you guys think.

I think any extremely tall player would have difficulty playing just due to center of gravity. The tallest players in the NFL are 6'9'' OL and such.




All the little quick PG's (Rose, Westbrook, Rondo, Collison, Paul, Wall, etc) would probably make great WR's.

Good list. I just think that some of the players that you mentioned would be too weak to play in the NFL. Usually if you're 6 foot or 6-1, you're typically gonna weigh 220-230 and still be very fast.

Pau as place kicker because he played soccer before
Shannon Brown as wide receiver because he is very fast and has a high vertical leap

Most NBA players COULD fit at the WR position because of their height but I can't imagine too many of them being on the defensive or offensive line because you need to have some "bulk" for that.

For the most part, RBs are relatively short...compared to basketball players. Adrian Peterson is 6'1, Chris Johnson is 5'11, Maurice Jones-Drew is 5'7, etc.

For QB, we can't really tell because we don't know how any of these guys throw a football. But, seeing as the QB is typically the leader of the offense, I could see Kobe playing QB.

He could play WR as well. Lebron could be a WR or TE.

I would put players like Rondo at the CB position.
