According to guys like Steve (Hartman?) and Petros, the lakers are a disaster this preseason and that mitch and co. did nothing to add toughness to this team. Also stating that Bynum isnt tough and that toughness cant be taught.
who has an opinion on the matter?

i think we're all basketball-savvy enough to come to our own conclusions about where the team is going and how the preseason is going to affect their regular season. the media makes a living on taking sides.

Steve Hartman is a bandwagon man who only cheer for the Lakers if they're winning. So I wouldn't take him seriously. A little sign of trouble would make him panic and worry like a little girl.

I think Kobe pretty much shut Hartman and Petros up last year in the offseason when he said those two knuckleheads don't even believe in the stuff that comes out of their mouth and its pretty much "a show"

The show is pretty much set up like this: Hartman is the hater or devil's advocate, Vick Jacobs is supposed to be the cheerleader for the Lakers, while MT is the neutral one out of the three.

I think it is designed like that so bring in more listeners

There are times that he annoys the hell out of me (the fact that he is a Laker hater and a Clippers fan). But most of the time, the guy is entertaining.

I don't think that pre-season is an accurate assessment of how the Lakers are going to do this season. I'd give it at least 10-20 games before starting in on what needs to be fixed.

they get all that from preseason, wow, and preseasons not even done, good thing theres a preseason trophy (for real, im not joking) ...... the only reason why they get listeners is because they are either annoying as hell and people hate them or they are totally on the lakers nuts and people love them .... kinda like how all media is
