You dont have to watch if you dont want to? He was the best backup C we've had in forever and a good locker room chemistry guy.

He really was a perfect fit for the Lakers. Didn't have to play when the 3 man big rotation was healthy, but was ready to step in when they weren't healthy.
Yup, knew his role well. Played hard when given the minutes, even if it was few and far between. Big, big body down low and wasn't afraid of anybody. And of course, he was a fan favorite.
What wasn't there to love about Mbenga?

DJ's game against the Grizzlies when he started because Drew and Pau were out was his best game. I think he had a double double that game.
It was against the Hornets. He had a double double and 4 blocks.
