I love how they are taking the storyline out of the WWE. Cm Punk even made it on the front page of ESPN.

Although it is part story line, the reality is that CM Punk is not under contract anymore with the WWE.

From what I read, negotiating is somewhat going on, but the talks are not very serious at this point.

CM Punk is really getting the fans on his side. He is becoming a master of the mic (not to the level of a Stone Cold or The Rock yet), but he is doing a great job of creating a lot of buzz and publicity for the WWE.

He his uner contract. To quote Vince theme, no chance in hell he would let someone walk out with his championship.

As time goes on it becomes more and more obvious that it is a work. He has to be under contract.
