It's pretty amazing what the guy did - I've been following this story since it happened. When I checked in on Yankees forums, everyone was calling him an idiot for not cashing in and selling it at auction, which some said could reach $250,000-$400,000. Just wait and see - The guy is already getting promises of money, and will NO DOUBT get a couple major endorsements with big corporations. He's going to make more money than he would have if he sold the ball. Seems like the guy was smarter than most people thought.
He can buy a house with that money. Or at least a down payment. [expletive] Jeter he's made over 200 million in his career. If he wants the ball he can buy it from me.
