Paul George
Brandon Rush
Dahntay Jones
any of these guys could be a very good back-up SG and they are all very athletic

JR Smith (everything, and insanity)
Both would be nice fits. JR may be too expensive though.

I'd like Afflalo. Brings it on defense and has really improved his offensive game since he came into the league. Not sure about Smith cause he can be a headcase sometimes.

One thing I learned about the Lakers never say neverwere not getting afflalo or smith sadly, and our other options are pretty bad, deshawn stevenson, kelenna azibuike, willie green and sash vujacic and shannon brown

afflalo has already gotten a 2.9 mil qualifying offer that he will more than likely accept and there isnt much we can trade for him (artest+a rookie) but denver wont let him go, i actuallly think shannon brown and sasha vujacic are the best choices for free agent backup 2's, shannon brown was better when the lakers had another guard that could shoot well and make up for shannon's lack of consistency

I have thought of several different scenarios trades that can improve our team, One was sign and trade for Chandler, JR smith and Afflalo for Odom and a pick the salaries would matchafflalo has already gotten a 2.9 mil qualifying offer that he will more than likely accept and there isnt much we can trade for him (artest+a rookie) but denver wont let him go, i actuallly think shannon brown and sasha vujacic are the best choices for free agent backup 2's, shannon brown was better when the lakers had another guard that could shoot well and make up for shannon's lack of consistency

that would be a very good trade but i dont think denver would take it

If the players give on the amnesty issue then we can do it by dumping artest contractthat would be a very good trade but i dont think denver would take it

We could use part of the MLE on J.R. Smith or Arron Afflalo.
Who wouldn't wanna play in LA?
jr smith made 6 mil last year and hes probably gonna want more, afflalo doesnt want to move from denver and denver really wants to keep afflalo

I wouldn't mind getting all three of those guys either. We'd definitely be a lot deeper if we're only giving up Odom in that deal.

AGREED!! Two best options at SG.
Tracy McGrady, Jason Richardson and Jamal Crawford would be worth a look too, but Smith and Afflalo have age on their side.
