I have some mentions on my twitter that i'd like to get rid of but can't find out how to do this. Does anyone know if this is even possible or if there is a program to remove @, mentions from a twitter profile? I've deleted the person who sent them but the mentions remain. Someone please help.

I don't think you can. I've tried doing so as well but it doesn't work. I've even gone as far as blocking people (if they really are real people behind this) since a lot of these dumb mentions and links come from those web cam girls and crap lol. So much spambots and whatnot on there mehh.

I haven't been able to find anything. I thought deleting the person would remove them but that didn't work. So I've had to message them & ask if they could please take the mentions down.

Yah Twitter is a bit diff than Facebook. You can't really "untag" yourself like you could on FB.
