Players always use the Lakers to try to get what they want, Every year some player somewhere threatens their team using the Lakers and every year it works!
If signing Barrea is part of the plan, Lakers are doomed.

lakers are over the cap
Tell Walton to use half his contract to pay Barea. That should be fair enough.

what up yall I am new after the draft and alot of my fantasy laker trades got crushed I'v been looking all over too see how the lakers can improve.
Barrea said to the dallas news that if dallas doesn't resign him new york, LA, and those scumbags miami are his options thats good news if Dallas lets him go I think we could get him.
Rodrigue Beaubois is currently signed to dallas though he has had injury problems he has alot of talent.
I think we could maybe trade for dj augustine he has one year left on his contract and jordan knows hes not coming back trade lamar odom and blake (get rid of that contract)
maybe a draft pick or two it might be giving up alot but it also free's some money up for free agency and takes care of our pg problem.
Lou Williams and a fill in power foward would also be a great trade for l.o. blake maybe draft picks
if lakers don't pick up a point guard then were going know were again this season delonte west, tj ford, stuckey would all be suitable hell i would take allen iverson over fisher at this point
lakers don't rebuild we don't get swept and make no moves in the offseason our competition is getting better it's not time to rebuild it's time to reload i think gasol or bynum need to go same with l.o. blake walton and all the other skid marks on the bench DAMMIT LAKERS LETS GO ESPN TRADE MACHINE AND TWO REDBULLS GOT ME PUMPED LMAO
Barea is sooooo not the answer to, well, anything. He has his own niche, which worked perfectly against the slow, big Lakers who didn't really care.
Beaubois is not leaving Dallas and DJ Augustin is not the answer.
We need a defensive specialist (like Kyle Lowry) or a possible all-star at the pg-spot; DJ Augstin is neither. CP3 would be the perfect fit.
Regarding Lou Williams, I do think he is a good option. Philly already have their PG for the future in Jrue Holiday (who is going to be an all-star within a year or two), and if they move Iggy for Kaman, they might want a good veteran 3, like Artest, to check the good 3's in the east.
