"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

Horrible? That was a great shoot interview he did. That was [expletive]ing horrible. Just flat out disrespectful. I get where he coming from but you just don't do that. Hopefully he's in line for a suspension.

This could not be a work. Too good to be scripted. CM Punk could be saying all that from what he really feels cause he's leaving WWE in a few weeks. What can WWE do? Fire him?Thats as convincing as a heel I've seen in a long time. Great promo. I hope the suspension was done to sell the audience.

Steve Austin: @CMPunk just melted my 52 inch TV with a scorching hot promo…delivery, content, and attitude…one of the best promos I’ve ever seen.
Jim Ross: Amazing feedback on @cmpunk end of Raw comments. Too many over analyzing it. Did you like it? If so, enjoy it. Was it compelling? Yes
Taz: Punk did a great job & I always liked him when we were in wwe together and his work! But I must say… There r many of us who were NEVER pushed to the level Punk was & were NEVER allowed to shoot like that, he’s lucky he was allowed to do that. But it was very strong & real!! I liked a lot! Good stuff Punk!
Colt Cabana: Colt Cabana’s Trending but @CMPunk should legit trend FOREVER. Coolest thing on wrestling since 1998. Can’t believe theyre gonna let’m walk
Maryse: @CMPunk for President of the United-States….
Todd Grisham: Punk came unhinged tonight. Never seen anything like it in my 8 years @WWE
MVP: @CMPunk stayed at my house Saturday night & we had a very in depth convo. I haven’t seen the promo. But I’m sure my friend made me proud! …

and from that same site -
ccording to fans in attendance at tonight’s RAW in Las Vegas, after tonight’s show went off the air Michael Cole announced that WWE has suspended CM Punk indefinitely. This comes off the heels of Punk giving a “shoot” at the end of the show that “prematurely” went off the air. For those who are wondering whether it was a real shoot or not, it wasn’t. It was designed to get people talking about it and the storyline leading to Money in the Bank, which it is already doing.
WWE will be taping two episodes of RAW tonight from Las Vegas, so we should have an idea of where this storyline goes from here later on tonight here at WrestleHeat.com. Follow along with our results for next week’s show by clicking here.
no clue of any of this is reliable information, but there it is...
if it is indeed an intended storyline, its definitely reminiscent of the "attitude" era (aka when wrestling was good)...stone cold shirt was definitely appropriate considering the way he went after mcmahon...if it wasn't scripted, they better figure out a way to work it in the way it has people talking

CM Punk brought the attitude back. Hopes it stays.

yea, whats the whole story...where is he going? is he just suspended from something that happened before, or is he moving to TNA or something? or is it a way to let him recover from injury/have surgery or something?
Is contract is really ending up soon but the way they made a storyline with it he probably re-signed.
That was the best thing I seen on RAW in forever. Surprised Vince let him say all that.
CM Punk brought the attitude back. Hopes it stays.
Never gonna happen. WWE will still PG and childish for good, until TNA becomes a threat to them.

CM Punk: it's simple business - The Rock is the main event at Wrestlemania cause it draws more money in one night, then u will in lifetime.

Saw this. I wonder if it's a set up for a Rocky guest ref at Summerslam(possible Cena Punk rematch)? MDI can't you see how this could upset some in the locker room?

This reminds me of the Attitude Era where there were no limits and you could insult each other and everything would be fine in the locker room. Here are some things that come to mind
- Rock and Jericho making fun of Stephanie McMahon's boob job
- Austin berating Vince at every chance he got
- WWE making an angle out of Lita cheating on Matt Hardy with Edge (Which was actually true)
- Kurt angle actually admitted to using viagra and Edge/Rock insulted him all of 2002 in the ring whenever they got a chance
There is no limits on how much you can insult and thats what made the promos so great because they were attacking each other personally. If they want the business to be at its peak again they're gonna have to do more of these.

Colt Cabana Explains Why CM Punk Wants To Leave WWE
Former WWE star Colt Cabana was interviewed this week by the Miami Herald and had a lot to say about CM Punk's shoot promo from RAW. Colt says that Punk's rant was almost entirely reality-based and reflected the frustrations Punk has felt in WWE since his first days with the company.
“That whole thing has been building up forever,” Cabana said. “Personally, for almost forever, his whole time there, he is able to say this to me in the comfort of my house or his house.
“From being laughed at by the trainers in Ohio Valley Wrestling to Paul [Heyman] finally bringing him up and everybody treating him like dirt, telling him he has an attitude problem and calling him the ‘King of the Indies.’ Just looking down on him, he just felt shunned his whole time there. It was a complete struggle.”
Many are still under the impression that this angle is a storyline and that Punk will remain with WWE following his contract expiring the day after his title shot at Money In The Bank on 7/17, but Punk has been burnt out for a long time and is at the point where he just wants out.
“The power of him not really caring because he was ready to leave — I always said the power of not giving a s--- is so important,” Cabana said. “He is really at the point where he just wants to get out of there. It’s too frustrating for him. If he said anything that made anybody mad, what are they going to do to him? Not re-sign him? He doesn’t want to be there."
“So I think that idea is so powerful. He is so strong in his beliefs with the straight edge lifestyle. By being how strong headed that he is, he was able to have the power to go out on television and say what probably every other wrestler has wanted to say. He made unbelievable television. He made unbelievable history in wrestling."
Punk may be on his way out of WWE, but Colt thinks his promo from RAW has the potential to change entire industry:
“He almost has the ability to change professional wrestling as we know it. It has been so stagnant and vanilla. It kind of shook up the wrestling world because of his real life frustrations.”
