Well, I can't vote for the Godfather because 3 was awful, IMO. If they would have somehow divided the first 2 into 3 movies (plenty long enough) then I would have had to consider it. But 3 was an obvious money grab by FFC.

The thing that surprises me more is all the Bourne Trilogy support. They were fun movies, but they weren't iconic like some of the other trilogies listed (Star Wars, Back to the Future, LotR).

true about GF3, but as far as the third movie being a money grab, you could say that about almost any third installment of a movie. some are just worse than others, but i agree with you that the movie wasn't even close to on par with the first two. and what also confuses me about this whole thing is that star wars isn't even a trilogy...which 3 movies is the poll referring to (forgive me if i missed something)?
